WHAT IS A JELLY ROLL ?
A Jelly Roll is  made up of pre-cut, 2 1/2" strips of fabric. There can be any amount of fabric in a roll, but we usually have 2.05 mtrs of fabric in ours. The rolls can have a special theme, such as Florals, Country, Indigo, Batiks, Abstract or Checks amongst others. Sometimes the rolls are made up of just one colour..... from the very lightest to the darkest shade. A very , very stunning quilt  right there !

SO,... WHAT CAN I MAKE FROM A JELLY ROLL ?
Ah ....a lot , in fact ! Use your left over  fabrics to combine with a Jelly Roll and bust that stash !! Keep the fabrics to a similar theme and you can't go wrong. Beautiful, scrappy quilts will emerge from your blends. Make placemats if you have only a few strips. How about bags for carrying wine to a Christmas do ? Or a tablecloth for a Halloween Party ? Lap quilts are great giveaway's and a Quillow is fun to give and receive!! The ideas are endless and many many patterns can be used for dynamic quilts.
