Originally created as a block-of-the-month quilt, it is designed as a teaching
pattern for beginning to intermediate level quilters. Compass blocks alternate
with luminously shaded log cabin blocks.

Baby Times Midnight Quilts Sliver Quilts
The three books listed here have great projects. The Baby Times has cute booties and other items for new mums and babies. We also have most of the fabrics used for the projects.
Midnight Quilts and Silver Quilts have beautiful quilts made from Westminster fabric lines and of course, we have a super collection for you to shop from. Now you can have a quilt that looks exactly "like that".

Sewing Machine Trolley
In two different styles, the trolleys are fast rolling out the door. Take it to class with you to hold all those important items apart from the machine itself. Spacious, easy to roll and a large zipper pocket makes these bags very roomy.
April Release
Sonora Collection
Soon to come from the fabrics of the Sonora Collection, a beautiful Indian style wall hanging and an offer for a FREE lesson to learn embroidery and embellishment. The Toran is a traditional hanging at many Indian homes, seen above the door to welcome family and friends. Just 40 " long and and about 18" high, it's the perfect small project that is also unusual. Watch for pictures, as I finish assembling it all together.
Batik Collection - Daisy's Garden
From Kaufman comes another collection of brilliant batiks.Exciting in any colour way, batik imparts such a punch of colour to any project.
Classes
We have recently added wool to our extensive collection of fabrics. Classes are soon to follow, so please watch for class dates. Beginner classes will be offered twice a week. Come make your first happening knitted item.
Ever wanted to make a quilt but didn't know how to get started ? Well, now you can find out all about making your first quilt. It's easy to get stared and see your quilt evolving week to week. No experience is needed. Learn everything step by step.
Class sizes are limited to 5 participants,so you get plenty of help.
Morning classes begin 10.30 a.m. and end at 12.30 p.m., Afternoon classes begin at 2 p.m. and end at 4 p.m
Sessions are once a week for 6 consecutive weeks. No classes are held on public holidays.
When you are signed up for a class, one of us at the shop will help you to choose your fabrics for your quilt. Choose from a wide variety of fabrics and styles. Then get ready to begin your first block ! It's easier than you think.
Patchwork Beginner Classes: Tuesdays and Thursdays 10.30 and 2 p.m. Hand sewing / machine sewing. Please let us know when you sign up.
Class Fee : $180.00 / 6 lessons ( Hand sewing )
$140.00 / 4 lessons ( Machine sewing )
Saturdays: 2p.m. Mixed class. Choose your project for this class and sew with others working on their own different projects.
Wednesday: FREE Sit n SEW. This is gathering of quilters, getting together to sew and chat. This is a non teaching day. Come by anytime from 11a.m. - 7 p.m. Or stay the whole day :)
One Day Workshops: For quick and fast to make projects .Usually small items for the home or for gift giving , this class also offers a quilt technique that will help you produce a Quilt in a Day. Try one sometime .
Applique Class : Available on Tuesday , Thursday and Saturday afternoon.
